The Duluth Art Institute has undergone countless changes in our 117 years, and we remain a waypoint for the visual arts in our ever-changing city. Here are some changes that have come along with our new US Bank Building gallery space:
- Updated hours: the galleries are now open Noon–5, Monday–Friday, and special weekend dates. Mark your calendar for the first open Saturday, July 20, to visit the Annual Member Show before it closes.
- Front desk: Visitors will find it easier to locate DAI staff with questions.
- Seating area: Take a break, enjoy our hillside view, and flip through art books during your gallery visit.
- In-gallery restroom: Long-time gallery visitors, rejoice! The bathrooms are no longer an elevator ride away.
- Portable gallery seating: For your convenience, lightweight stools are available to bring with you through the galleries.
- Free one-hour ramp parking: the Duluth Transit Center parking ramp, one block from the DAI by street or Skywalk, offers the first hour of parking free.
