The Duluth Art Institute Says Goodbye to Exhibitions Director Amy Varsek

After 10 years of dedicated and thoughtful service to artists at the DAI, Amy Varsek is leaving her role as Exhibitions Director. Amy joined the team in 2014 as Education Director and has worked in various exhibitions roles throughout her tenure.

Amy supported hundreds of artists in realizing their vision for classes and exhibitions. She has facilitated numerous creative connections, drawing on her extensive knowledge of the artists and resources in the region.

From Amy: “I am extremely grateful to the artists at the DAI for inspiring me. Because of all of you, I continue to be brave, take risks, and keep creating. Most of all, as the DAI Curator, I am honored to have been trusted with your creative vulnerabilities, and for that, I will forever be thankful.”

Thank you, Amy, for sharing your curatorial eye and community focus as part of the DAI team. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and look forward to future collaborations.
