Ever wonder what makes a critique actually helpful? Join artist and educator Robb Quisling for a conversation about the purpose of critique, how it can strengthen your creative practice, and how to give and receive thoughtful, constructive feedback. Listen in while you work on your own creative projects in our multipurpose classroom space.
Following the presentation, participants are invited to stay for an optional one-on-one critique with Robb to put these ideas into practice. Perfect for developing and emerging artists.
Additional Information
First Wednesdays is part of our regular Weekly Creative Studio program with additional artist resources, special guests, and professional development opportunities available during work time. Creative Studio runs 5:00–8:00pm, with the presentation beginning at 5:30pm.
PRICING
DAI members at Student, Individual, and Duo levels: 1 weekly studio per month at no additional cost, then $5 per session.
DAI members at Group, Collective, and Benefactor levels: attend any weekly studio at no additional cost
Non-Members $10/session.
When you arrive, check in with DAI team member or facilitator and sign in on the sign up sheet. The DAI will track the number of sessions you attend.
No clay studio access.
