Experience Fur Trade Nation, an exhibition that brings the Ojibwe people and the fur trade era to life through the evocative art of Carl Gawboy. Then, explore Ojibwe Adornment by Wendy Savage, where handcrafted beadwork and quillwork honor storytelling traditions and celebrate cultural heritage.
Enjoy an evening where past and present meet—through art, conversation, and creativity. Savor light refreshments inspired by traditional Ojibwe foods, take guided gallery tours, and meet the artists behind the work.

Location details
The DAI Downtown Galleries are located in the US Bank Building, 130 W Superior St. Suite 400, Duluth, MN 55802. The elevators to the space can be accessed near the Superior Street main doors, or on the 2nd floor of the building through the connected Skywalk route. Our front door is located just off the elevator bay on the 4th floor.
