Genevieve Esh works primarily in painting, drawing, printmaking and ceramics. They make art to connect with others who have struggled or are struggling with their mental health, to help break the stigma around mental illness and treatment, and have open conversations about trauma and the process of healing. Genevieve is a Senior in the Studio Art BFA program at University of Minnesota Duluth. They recently won two awards for their mixed-media painting Lived Through It at the UMD Annual Student Exhibition, Spring 2026.
