Selection Process
Exhibitions chosen by the open-call process are selected by a panel of local and regional art professionals following an open call for art. Additional exhibitions may be brought in by staff or guest curators, community panels, or traveling exhibitions.
The DAI hosts OPEN CALL FOR ART applications on Submittable. It also gives you access to opportunities regionally, nationally, and worldwide.
Artist Info Sheets
Artist Info Sheets can be emailed to the DAI Exhibitions Manager, Madeline Kayser: mkayser@duluthartinstitute.org.
These one-page PDFs should include images of your current work, your contact information, and an artist statement. You may also include education, work history, fellowships and grant awards or other interesting facts about you and your work. Artist Info Sheets will be kept on file for future reference and are not considered official applications for an exhibition.
