Animation for Kids with Ant Nold

Students will learn to bring their drawings to life using 2D traditional animation done digitally on the iPad. The course will cover the history of animation, the animation basics, and principles. Students will take what they learn, and using the app Callipeg, create stories to show off to friends and family. Students will hone their drawing skills both woth pencil and paper, and a stylus when working on the iPad. With these fundamental skills, anyone can start animating!

The Lincoln Park Building’s Great Room is a multipurpose art-making classroom space with movable work tables, chairs, easels, and drawing horses, framed by two massive arched windows and a high ceiling.
